X Viral Vector Core (VVC) - Miami Project to Cure Paralysis

Overview of Services

The Viral Vector Core (VVC) at the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis is open to all University of Miami researchers. The VVC specializes in producing lentiviral and adeno-associated virus (AAV) viral particles. The VVC produces high-titer lenitviral and AAV viral particles at lower prices compared to commercial sources. The VVC offers a variety of serotyping and pseudotyping options, and our staff can assist investigators in choosing and designing viral vectors.  We also carry stock viruses that can be purchased inexpensively by the vial (e.g., GFP- and mCherry expression lentiviral & AAV particles).
